119 fresh Covid cases surface in Lucknow in past 24 hrs

LUCKNOW: As many as 119 people were diagnosed with Covid-19 infection in the city in the past 24 hours, taking the active case count to 875.
Highest 21 cases were reported from Aliganj followed by 16 cases NK Road CHC, 14 cases each from Chinhat and Alambagh CHC.
Other cases came from Gosainganj, Silver Jubilee and Sarojininagar community health centres (CHCs).
District surveillance officer Dr Nishant Nirwan said that all those tested with infection are recovering in home isolation and their condition is being monitored closely.
"As many as 40 patients recovered from infection in the past 24 hours," added Dr Nishant.
