12-year-old boy booked for rape of 5-yr-old girl

Surat: A 12-year-old boy was booked by Bardoli rural police station on Sunday for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl in a village near Bardoli. The boy told police that he did not know what he did but had seen such an act. It was not yet clear if he had seen a porn video on a mobile phone.
Police booked the boy, the son of a casual labourer, following a complaint by the girl’s father. The minor suffered injuries in her private parts and that is how her parents came to know about the crime. The minor was later taken for medical examination and police were alerted.
A detailed medical examination was held on the minor at New Civil Hospital in Surat. tnn
