Brigade Enterprises(down 0.14 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.35 per cent at 435.2 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 29.25 points at 17677.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 92.94 points at 59817.81.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, IDFC First Bank, Reliance Power and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Precision Camshaft, Aki India, Likhitha Infra, Camlin Fine Sc and Aptech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Party Cruisers Ltd., Nirman Agri Genetics, Quick Heal Tech, Udayshivakumar Infra and Avalon Technologies Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
