3 feared dead in Dhanbad illegal mine cave-in

Dhanbad: Three women are feared dead while illegally mining coal near Godhar colliery under the Kusunda area of the BCCL on Monday. While the others involved in illegal mining are alleged to have taken away the bodies of two, the third woman is said to be still trapped under the debris.
According to sources, nearly 300 people had entered an abandoned patch of mine near the third Gansadih colliery of Godhar. Around 6 am, a wall inside the mine caved in trapping three women, the sources said.
Other people in the group managed to pull two of them out but left the third woman inside as her body was badly crushed under the debris, the sources said.
