Atiq Ahmed’s shootout: Shops closed, heavy security deployed at Jama Masjid Chowk in Prayagraj

Uttar Pradesh police laid off strict patrolling in the Prayagraj’s Jama Masjid Chowk area after gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed was shot dead by three assailants on April 15. The shops in the area are closed. Heavy security forces have also been deployed in the area.
