Mysuru: A total of 20 candidates, including two sitting MLAs, on Saturday filed their nomination papers in various assembly constituencies in Mysuru for the May 10 assembly polls.
Prominent among those who filed nominations was MLA K Mahadeva of JD(S) from Periyapatna. Four others, including Gurumurthy Joganahalli, NaveenKumar, P S Yediyurappa and Subramanya BS, also filed their nominations from the segment.
In Hunsur, MLA HP Manjunath of Congress as well as JD(S) candidate GD Harish filed their nomination papers.
In KR Nagar assembly segment, Uttama Prajakiya party candidate Mohan K filed his nomination papers.
AAP candidate Malavika Gubbivani filed her nomination papers from the Chamaraja assembly segment in Mysuru city while another AAP candidate H Hanumaiah filed his nomination papers from Nanjangud segment.
No candidates filed nominations from HD Kote, Chamundeshwari, Varuna and T Narasipura assembly segments, according to a press release issued by deputy commissioner Dr KV Rajendra.
