20 vaccinated in Patna

Covid-19 vaccination started in Patna district on Saturday with 20 people getting the shots. "In Patna, we have started the vaccination facility at Gardanibagh hospital. In view of high demand, we began the vaccination from Saturday.
At present, it is being done at one place to avoid the wastage of vaccine doses," District immunisation officer Dr S P Vinayak said. He added registration for vaccination was being done on the spot and once sufficient number of people get registered, they would make a call to the beneficiaries to come to the centre.
Vinayak said as of now they have received 20,000 doses of Covid vaccines. The state had procured 25,000 doses of Corbevax vaccine on Friday.
