Father-son duo held for stabbing man in Kolkata

KOLKATA: Haridevpur Police on Saturday arrested two persons — a father-son duo — for allegedly stabbing a 40-year-old man late on Wednesday evening. The victim, identified as Sanchayan Biswas, is stated to be serious.
“The two accused — Sahadeb Mondal and his son Sumit — were being continuously chased for the past three days. They finally surrendered on Saturday evening,” said joint CP (crime) Shankha Subhra Chakrabarty.
The duo was upset over an illicit affair involving one of their family member and the victim.
