With 52 cases, dist now has over 800 patients

Nagpur: Nagpur district reported 52 new cases of Covid in the last 24 hours. The number came down because of the reduced number of tests on April 14, which was a government holiday.
Total 449 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in Nagpur, including 359 in city and 90 in rural Nagpur. Out of them, 52 tested positive, including city’s 25 and rural Nagpur’s 24.

Three patients coming from other states also tested positive. Out of the 800 plus active cases, 38 have been hospitalized in Nagpur which means the hospitalization rate is down to nearly 5%.
No death was reported in the last 24 hours. Total 20 patients, including city’s 14 and rural Nagpur’s six, recovered from Covid in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is more than 98%. tnn
