Briefing on the shootout of mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, his advocate Vijay Mishra on April 15 in Prayagraj narrated the incident and said that the police couldn't shoot back at the culprits amid the chaos. "Police were taking them for medical check-up. Gunshots were heard when we entered the hospital. Police held the shooters immediately. They police did not shoot back as a chaos was created," Mishra said
