Atiq Ahmed shootout: UP Police conducts flag march at several parts of state

Soon after the shootout of mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, the UP Police conducted a flag march in several parts of the state on March 16. The state government is trying to maintain a peaceful situation in the state as Section 144 has also been imposed in all the districts along with beefed up security. Meanwhile, UP CM Yogi Adityanath also chaired a high-level meeting with police officials at his residence. Mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were shot dead on April 15. The mafia-turned-politician and his brother were being taken for a medical in Prayagraj.
