Man beats wife, kids to death, hangs self in Kanpur Dehat

Kanpur: A man allegedly killed his wife and two children before committing suicide in Hajipur village under the limits of Baraur police station in Kanpur Dehat district on Saturday afternoon.
The police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post mortem.
A police team of Baraur police station along with in charge Surjit Singh reached the spot and initiated investigations. The forensic team also reached the site and collected evidence.
The man was identified as Indrapal Nishad. His father Mathura Prasad lives with the family of the younger son. SP BBGTS Murthi said, “We received information from the control room that a man named Indrapal Nishad (40) of Hajipur village beat his wife (38), son Pravesh (13) and daughter Jahnvi (8) to death and then hanged himself. The bodies have been sent for postmortem. Going by preliminary findings, it came to the fore that Indrapal suspected his wife of infidelity.”
Meanwhile, a video of Indrapal surfaced on Social media, in which he is heard saying that a person named Mukesh used to frequent his house and ruined his family. “We have included this video in the investigation,” said the police.
