Railways launches MEMU train between Bapudham Motihari and Patliputra Junction

PATNA: The railways on Saturday launched a new MEMU Intercity Special (05556) between Bapudham Motihari and Patliputra Junction. The train will have stoppages at Jiwdhara, Pipra, Chakia, Maheshi, Muzaffarpur, Ramdayalu Nagar, Hajipur and Sonepur.
According to ECR CPRO Birendra Kumar, the train (15555/15556) will run on a daily basis to cope up with passengers’ rush during summere. The train will leave Motihari at 6am in the morning and reach Patliputra Junction the same day at 9.30am. On its return, it will leave Patliputra Junction at 7pm and reach Bapudham Motihari at 10.30pm, he said.
