College fest held
Mangaluru: Canara College, Mangaluru, organised a two-day Canfest-‘23, a national level intercollegiate fest, recently. Kedarnath Shenoy A, partner at Manohar Choudhary Associates, in his address as the chief guest, spoke about the concern caused by the rapid development of artificial intelligence, which is fast replacing human labour and making small jobs irrelevant.
He elucidated on the anecdote of Ritesh Agarwal, the young Indian entrepreneur, and founder and CEO of OYO Rooms. A total 47 colleges participated. AJ Institute of Commerce and Management won the overall championship. The runners-up and overall championship trophy of Scientica was bagged by St Agnes College, Mangaluru, and Poorna Prajna College, Udupi, respectively. tnn
