The Delhi government has reportedly called a one-day special Assembly session amid political upheaval concerning power subsidy issues and summons to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the CBI in the liquor excise policy case.

The Delhi Assembly will convene for the second part of the Budget Session on April 17, officials said on Saturday.

The House will reconvene a day after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appears before the CBI for questioning in the excise policy case.

According to an official notification, the second part of the Budget Session will commence in the Assembly Hall at 11.00 am on Monday.
