President acknowledged concerns raised by religious minority: Faridabad-Delhi Bishop

Archbishop Kuriakose Bharanikulangara of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Faridabad on April 15 met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. While speaking to ANI, he told that the President acknowledged the concerns raised by the religious minority and has assured to do her best for addressing the issue. Kuriakose Bharanikulangara said, “In a democratic setup, minorities are to be respected. Their rights are to be protected. If that is not happening, then being religious leaders we have to bring it to the public. This is what we did by submitting the memorandum in February. At the local level, somebody has to do that.”
