BIT Mesra hosts ‘Udbodhan’ on scientific, cultural past
Ranchi: The three-day exhibition ‘Udbodhan’, a show on Indian knowledge system (IKS), started at the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra on Thursday to educate students on scientific feats and heritage of ancient India.
Addressing the inaugural function, chief guest and BIT vice-chancellor professor Indranil Manna urged students to take pride in one’s rich history and culture. IKS coordinator and professor Sanjay Kumar of BIT said, “The programme will hold exhibitions on ancient treatise, wisdom through the ages, science engineering and technology, various art forms, linguistics, astronomy, architecture and town planning, health wellness and psychology, governance and public administration and art and culture of Jharkhand.”
