SC/ST NITK portal launched

Mangaluru: The SC/ST Cell of NITK Surathkal hosted a number of cultural and academic events on Friday, on the occasion of the 132nd birth anniversary celebration of ‘Bharat Ratna’ BR Ambedkar. As a part of the event, a dedicated website for SC,ST Cell (NITK) was launched, which will be a single gateway that provides all the information on numerous scholarships, exclusively granted to SC,ST students.
Dr Kumar Naik G, joint commissioner (enforcement), West Zone, department of commercial tax, Mangaluru, was the chief guest and GC Mohan Kumar, director in-charge NITK Surathkal, presided over the function. tnn
