Posani Krishna Murali, a writer and actor, has tested positive for COVID-19 amidst the recent surge of cases in the country. After returning to Hyderabad from shooting a film in Pune, he exhibited symptoms of the virus and took a rapid RT-PCR test, which confirmed his diagnosis. As a result, he has been isolated from his family and admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad. This marks his third time testing positive for COVID-19, and updates on his current health condition are yet to be announced.
Posani Krishna Murali is a popular Telugu film actor, screenwriter, and director who has been active in the film industry for over three decades. He has acted in more than 150 films in Telugu. He is known for his versatile acting skills and has won several awards for his performances in films.

Recently, he appeared in the film 'Meter' starring Kiran Abbavaram and Nikhil Siddharth starrer '18 Pages'. Known for his prolific comedic performances, he has worked alongside numerous big-ticket stars in Telugu cinema, and has also demonstrated his writing talents in the past with films like Rakshana, Alluda Majaka, Evadra Rowdy, Bobby, among others, featuring superstars such as Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi, and Mahesh Babu.

Despite being occupied with his film career, this comic actor has also been actively serving as the chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation for the past two months, until the recent resurgence of the virus.

The news of his hospitalisation has come as a shock to his fans and colleagues in the film industry. Many actors and filmmakers have expressed their concern and wished him a speedy recovery. As of now, the hospital administration hasn't confirmed his present health status, leaving fans to eagerly anticipate positive news.
