Anupam Kher paid an emotional tribute to his late friend Satish Kaushik on his 67th birthday through a special event. He invited several celebrities from the film industry including Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Anil Kapoor, Neena Gupta and Subhash Ghai who spoke fondly of Kaushik. The late actor's wife Shashi and 11-year-old daughter Vanshika were also present at the event. Vanshika read the letter she wrote to her father after his death, which brought tears to everyone's eyes.
