Spl drive soon in Kasan and Manesar Sec 1on waste mgmt

Gurgaon: The Municipal Corporation of Manesar (MCM) is going to develop Kasan and Sector 1 of IMT Manesar as model areas for waste management.
MCM commissioner Yashpal Yadav, who took charge on Wednesday, in a meeting with the sanitation department said a special drive will start from April 24 to May 15. In this campaign, which the residents will be made to segregate waste, composting will be done and all the garbage from the two areas will be cleared and treated.
“The sanitation teams will work to achieve maximum source segregation, composting and processing of waste. The garbage from these two areas will be cleared and the drive will run from April 24 to May 15. A committees will be constituted within 10 days to monitor, evaluate and compile the day-to-day waste,” said Zenith Chaudhury, the corporation’s consultant for the Swachh Bharat Mission .
