Samsung picks up gold at International Forum Design Award 2023 in Germany

As per an official blog post, Samsung has announced that it has picked up 80 awards, including a gold prize, at the iF Design Award 2023 (International Forum Design Award 2023) in Germany. The iF Design Award has been held since 1953 by the German International Forum. Awards are given in 9 categories including Product, Package, Communication, Concept, Interior, Architecture, Service Design, User Experience (UX), and User Interface (UI).

Out of the 80 awards, Samsung Electronics bagged 32 awards in the product category and 35 awards in the UX/UI category. Also, the company grabbed 11 awards in the outlet category, 1 award in the communications category, and 1 award in the packaging category. Samsung’s ‘Bespoke Infinite Line’ picked up the gold award at the iF Design Award 2023 in Germany.

Samsung continued its run of winning the most awards for the second year in a row

The gold-award-winning Bespoke Infinite Line refrigerator has features such as an auto-open door, an automatic dual ice maker, an auto-fill water purifier, and more. The built-in oven and hood are installed together to maintain symmetry and give the kitchen a premium interior. Samsung Electronics continued its record of winning the most awards, with 80 awards following last year.

Roh Tae-moon, president of the Design Management Center at Samsung Electronics, said, “It is important to design meaningful experiences that combine changing customer values ​​and innovative technologies. We will continue to work hard to make it happen.”
