COVID Update: India logs 11,109 active cases, 6,456 recoveries in last 24 hours

India recorded 11,109 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. The overall active caseload in the country currently stands at 49,622 with a daily positivity rate of 5.01 per cent and a weekly positivity rate of 4.29 per cent. The death count due to COVID virus has gone up to 5,31,064. 220.66 crore total vaccine doses (95.21 cr Second Dose and 22.87 cr Precaution Dose) have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
