NSDC, Yamaha join forces to equip EWS candidates with automotive skills

New Delhi, Apr 14 (KNN) The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Yamaha Motor Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. have signed a MoU to provide skill development training to candidates from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and marginalized sections of society.
The candidates will be trained near the Yamaha plant in Faridabad as Two-Wheeler Service Technicians within the Automotive Sector.
On successful completion of training, candidates will be facilitated with placement by NSDC's Approved Training Partner.
The pact was signed by Sanjay Kumar Singh, MD of Yamaha Motor Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, Director-Tech, along with other dignitaries from Japan.
Eishin Chihana, President of Yamaha Motor, India, Naoto Fujita, Director of YMSLI India, and Toyoto Ono, President of Yamaha Motor Solutions were also present.
The signing ceremony was attended by Sanjeeva Singh, EVP- CSR & Skill Development Financing, NSDC, Sarita Bhatia, GM-CSR & Skill Development Financing, Shantanu Ghosh, DGM-CSR & Yash Taretiya from NSDC International team. (KNN Bureau)
