Motorcyclist killed in Anderson Township crash identified

A motorcyclist killed in an early morning crash Friday in Anderson Township has been identified, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
The motorcyclist, 58-year-old Gareth Benjamin, failed to make a left turn and hit a guardrail at 2:40 a.m., a statement from the sheriff's office said. He was wearing a helmet, and CPR was administered at the scene.
The crash happened in the 5400 block of Salem Road between Wayside Avenue and Apple Hill Road.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
