Man held for chain snatching

Vadodara: A day after a woman’s gold chain was snatched in the city, the cops arrested a 20-year-old youth on Wednesday.
Yash Dhameliya, a resident of Khatamba, was nabbed near Bapod crossroads on the basis of a tip-off. The police said that when they frisked Dhameliya they found a broken gold chain.
He couldn’t give a satisfactory reply and he even failed to produce documents of the vehicle he was driving.
Investigations revealed that the chain recovered from him was of the woman who had filed a complaint in Sayajigunj police station on Tuesday.
