2 Gurgaon men die in Uttarakhand forest fire

DEHRADUN: Two friends, who had come to Pauri Garhwal to attend a wedding, were charred to death in a fire in the forests of Chaubatakhal in Pauri district of Uttarakhand on Monday afternoon. The duo, Kuldeep Kumar (22) and Vikas Kumar (26), had come from Gurgaon, where they worked at a private company, to their village in Pauri Garhwal to attend a wedding which was to take place on Thursday.
Social worker Manoj Naudiyal, a local resident, said that the duo had gone for an outing to the forest when they saw a wildfire. They tried dousing it but were soon engulfed by it.
