Time named Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, who remains detained in Russia, to its 2023 Time 100 list of most influential people.
Mr. Gershkovich is one of three imprisoned journalists named to this year’s list. Time also named Iranian reporters Elaheh Mohammadi and Niloofar Hamedi for what the magazine described as their crucial coverage of protests against the regime.
