Blinkit's Delivery Partners Protests Against Revised Incentive Framework, Services Affected In Delhi-NCR

Blinkit services were affected in Delhi-NCR after the grocery delivery app's delivery partners went on strike in protest of the revised pay structure. Blinkit has revised the incentive framework by lowering executive delivery rates.

Protests were held in Gurugram, Faridabad, and other districts of Delhi-NCR. Delivery partners later approached the District Commissioner of Gurugram. After workers addressed officials on Wednesday, the Haryana Labour Department issued a notice to Blinkit.

Quick-commerce is a highly competitive and cash-intensive industry. Swiggy's Instamart, Zepto, Dunzo, and Tata-owned Bigbasket are among the companies seeking for market dominance in the industry.
