On the other hand, SOBHA(down 2.33 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.66 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.47 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.03 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.13 per cent up at 425.2.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 15.6 points at 17828.0, while the BSE Sensex stood up 38.23 points at 60431.0.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 ended in the green, while 22 closed in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, Vodafone Idea, Tata Steel and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of De Nora India, Vardhman Poly, Touchwood Entertainm, Gretex Industries and Grauer & Weil hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Lorenzini Apparels, Nirman Agri Genetics, Seya Industries, SVP Global and Vikas Multicorp hit their fresh 52-week lows.
