David Dhawan undergoes angioplasty- Exclusive Breaking News
The news on the senior filmmaker is that he underwent angioplasty, a few weeks ago- and this had not been reported until now. The procedure was conducted at Mumbai's HN Reliance Hospital (at Charni Road). ETimes also has it that a stent was implanted.
This is the third case of angioplasty that we are hearing in recent times- Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen and Shilpa-Shamita Shetty's mother, Sunanda Shetty. Sushmita and Sunanda Shetty were incidentally treated at the same hospital- Nanavati- by the same cardiologist Dr Rajiv Bhagwat.
Coming back to David Dhawan, he is following all the do's and don'ts very strictly, leaving nothing to chance. "Mrs Lali Dhawan, Varun and Rohit were very worried during the phase that his heart problem began, but everything is fine now. Touch wood," our source added.
