Max: All Major Projects Coming to the HBO Max Rebranded Streaming Service

16 years after the release of the final film, Warner Bros. Discovery has ordered a new series based on the iconic books written by J.K. Rowling. The decade-long series adaptation will feature a new cast. Along with that, the controversial Rowling will also be part of the series as an executive producer.

The Penguin

The Matt Reeves Batman universe will soon expand with a TV series revolving around Colin Farrell's The Penguin, which saw the release of its first look footage. The clip featured The Penguin alongside other members of the Gotham underworld, such as Sofia Falcone, who is played by Cristin Milioti.

The Big Bang Theory Spinoff

Max has also announced that hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory will be receiving the spinoff treatment again, with executive producer Chuck Lorre working on the new series. 

A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight

Following the release of House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones franchise expands once again, as HBO gives a series order to A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight. The George R.R. Martin novel follows two unlikely heroes in Westeros, 100 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

The Conjuring drama series

At the Max unveiling event, Warner Bros. Discovery also announced that a new drama series will be developed as part of the hit horror universe from The Conjuring. Star horror director James Wan is currently in talks to executive produce.

Welcome to Derry

Following two successful hits, the It franchise will have a horror TV series of its own. The prequel will follow Pennywise in the 1960s, and it will serve as the iconic character's origin story.

Rick and Morty: The Anime

Rick and Morty fans can rejoice, as more content is headed your way. However, this time, the iconic grandfather-grandson duo will be showcased in a new avatar of anime.
