Prayagraj CJM court sends Atiq Ahmed & his brother Ashraf to 4-day police custody

Hours after the encounter of Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad Ahmed by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF), Mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf has been sent to four-day police custody by Prayagraj Chief Judicial Magistrate Court. “Today, CJM Court has sent accused Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf on police remand from April 13th to April 17th. They will be medically examined before being taken on remand,” said DGC Gulab Chandra Agrahari.
