GURGAON: MCG commissioner PC Meena has suspended a junior engineer working in the corporation’s Swachh Bharat Mission division after he allegedly failed to answer questions about the work under way at the Bandhwari landfill. The suspension letter was issued on Tuesday evening.
Officials said Meena asked the junior engineer about how much legacy waste is being processed by each private firm deployed at Bandhwari and the existing status of their work, but he was unable to answer a single question asked by the commissioner. Two private agencies are processing legacy waste at the site at present.
