4 of Bishnoi gang held with IMFL worth 30L

Vadodara: The prevention of crime branch (PCB) seized a huge liquor stock from the city and arrested four men belonging to the notorious Bishnoi gang on Wednesday.
Cops said that it received information that the gang had again become active and was ferrying liquor in the city. The police, on the basis of a tip-off, fielded a team on Kalali Road and intercepted a tempo (good carrier). When checked, a big stock of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was found inside the vehicle. The accused caught with the vehicle told the police that they were asked to take the stock to a godown. The PCB teams then raided the godown and one more shop where it seized more liquor bottles.
The police seized over 15,000 bottles of IMFL worth Rs 30 lakh along with three cars and some cash.
The arrested persons were identified as Modaram Devasi, Shravan Kumar Bishnoi, Ghevarchand Bishnoi and Punaram Devasi, all natives of Rajasthan. tnn
