The chief of Tourism Kelowna said that all signs indicate aneventful summer for travelers in Central Okanagan.
LIsanneBallantyne, thePresident and CEO said that the sectorsounds quitehopeful. All pointers, Ballantynesaid are signifying an outstanding summer.
She said that she considers that the whole hospitality sector is looking forward to this approaching season.
As a destination,Kelowna has come back from the ill effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ballantynesatted that some metrics demonstrate that the city was not affected as badly as one might consider.
She said thatvisitations were a littleirregular in that respect, notwithstanding two years of health and travel constraints. Kelowna still floated around the two million mark consideringvisits.
Ballantynesaid that there is a lot of informationfor what is happening with regard toretrieval.
However, she said that she cannot talk about the summer minusemphasizing their airport. YLW is the quickestimproving among the top 10 airport in the country marking 92 per cent retrieval in travelers based on the tourist numbers of 2019.
