21 Covid cases logged, 1 patient dies

Ludhiana: A total of 21 fresh Covid cases were reported in the district on Tuesday. One person died. Health officials said that positive cases included nine cases of ILI (influenza like illness), three cases reported from OPD, three healthcare workers, three contacts of patients and one ANC.
Health officials said that as of now, nine beds in isolation wards of private hospitals were occupied while two beds were occupied in government hospitals.
On Tuesday, teams of the health department collected samples of 777 suspected patients, including 534 RTPCR samples and 243 Antigen samples.
