Jilted lover arrested for harassing teen in Nagpur

NAGPUR: An 18-year-old youngster created a ruckus in front of a 19-year-old’s residence around Monday midnight after being repeatedly rejected by her. Police recovered a knife from the accused.
It’s learnt that the victim and the accused were once neighbours. Around a year ago, he had expressed his love for her and even proposed. She had turned down his proposal.
He then started stalking the woman to and from her college. The victim and her mother moved to a new place because of his relentlessly harassing. Sources said that he was spotted by passers-by when he was trying to enter the residence of the woman by scaling the compound wall.
