Sancoale parched, ire splashed on PWD

Vasco: Angered by erratic water supply, some Sancoale residents on Wednesday confronted the assistant engineer, PWD (water section). The villagers of Ward-3 of the Sancoale panchayat and the surrounding localities are beset with water woes.
A delegation led by panch member Tulshidas Naik reached the PWD office at Baina, Vasco. The villagers demanded an explanation for the crisis from assistant engineer Naresh Painginkar.
“The water supply stopped in Ward-3 a week ago,” Naik said. “But the people of Agassaim are getting a good quantity of water.” Painginkar told the villagers that he will speak to his seniors to ensure quick redress.
