Lakers will take on the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the Playoffs.
The Wolves, meanwhile, will take on the winner between Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans.
That’s the end. Lakers make it to the Playoffs. It took some work but LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder pull them through. Rui Hachimura was pivotal too from the bench.
Davis makes only one of the two shots.
Davis is fouled by Edwards and the Lakers player will go to the FT line.
Anderson’s pass is wayward and Wolves turn the ball over. 24th conceded in the match.
8.4 to go in OverTime and Wolves call a timeout. That will be the last one of the game.
Schroder puts in both his free throws.
Schroder takes the ball into play deep into his own half and Alexander-Walker fouls him.
LeBron to put the ball into play. But it is stolen by Wolves. Anderson does the job. NO NO NO! Prince misses the three. That was the chance for Wolves. Reeves gets the rebound and he is fouled trying to protect the ball. 11.3 left.
Edwards comes good from a drive. Floats it into the bucket. Timeout taken by Lakers. 19 seconds to play in OverTime.
Hachimura now with a moving screen to turn the ball over to Wolves. 35.5 left.
Schroder misses on a drive but Wolves fail to conolidate as Anderson fouls Davis. A moving screen. Lakers ball.
Another shot clock violation from Wolves. KAT puts a bucket but that is after the buzzer went off.
Schroder almost gets the ball from Edwards. But the ball rolls out of bounds. 13 left on the shot clock.
Davis with a close in put away to take the Lakers lead back to five points. He beats KAT to get the shot. Timeout taken by the Wolves! 1:40 remaining.
Hachimura with a miss now. Edwards collects it.
LeBron misses a jumper and Edwards pounces on the rebound and takes it all the way to the bucket to score.
Schroder with a floater to add to Lakers’ lead. Neat pass and move between him and Davis.
Hachimura starts with a three point shot for Lakers.
Both teams will get two additional timeouts for the five-minute overtime period.
He does it. We have overtime. Conley forces overtime. Three clutch free throws to keep Wolves alive.

SCHRODER!!!!!!! OH MY WORD! That is a clutch time play and Lakers lead by three. LeBron takes the onus to make the play. He drives to the basket and plays the ball to the other end to Schroder. He is open at the end and fires in a three.

Anderson loses the ball as it goes back court. Lakers win the ball back. Him and KAT were working the play but it doesn’t quite work out.
PRINCE! Lakers have a throw in and Prince steals the ball from under LeBron’s nose. LeBron with a diving effort to get it back but he fouls the Wolves player.
Wolves call a timeout now. 30.3 second left in the contest.

LeBron with an error on a pass and Wolves get a turnover. It is all happening here. Edwards misses the three point shot. TImeout!
LeBron goes for another three but misses. The ball is stuck on the basket. Just over a minute to play.
LEBRON JAMES! Who else but him? He fires a three from the right side of the court to get the sides level.
Prince with a howler of a pass from the mid court to turn the ball over.
Wolves miss another three pointer but Edwards keeps the play alive with an offensive rebound. He too misses his shot from beyond the arc.

KAT misses a three. Had plenty of time to get the shot.
Wolves resume play but Prince’s attempt to pick and roll is thwarted by an interception.
Reeves misses a three point shot that LeBron set up. Timeout by the Wolves.
Prince is going for a drive to the basket when the shot clock expires.
Lakers miss multiple open shots. LeBron then fouls Edwards and the pressure eases for the Wolves. Five minutes to play.
Schroder with another two points.
Conley with another three pointer. Anderson stops himself from shooting from under the bucket and opens it to the right side. Conley backs the faith put in him and hits the shot.
Edwards fouls Reeves and the Lakers player head to the FT line. Makes both.
Anderson misses a three for Wolves and LeBron collects the rebound.
Prince with a fourth three point shot. He gives some breathing space to the Wolves with that shot.
Davis is penalised for a travel foul. Turnover for Wolves. KAT is back on the court for now and they would hope to make that count.
Wolves again take too long to get the shot in. Lakers is able to get the turn over.
Davis with a eurostep and finish. It is down to just three points now. Timberwolves call for a timeout.
Schroder puts in both FTs. Five point game with just over eight minutes to go.
Now Schroder draws a foul. Conley is the culprit. Two more free throws for Lakers.
Davis with a bucket. AND A FOUL! A three point play. He is fouled right under the tom and shoots in the free throw.
KAT is given a fifth personal. He was fighting for a rebound with Davis and the refs rule favour of the Lakers player. KAT is taken off the floor.
LeBron with pressure on Prince at the perimeter. He forces the guard wide and Prince is unable to make the shot.
KAT comes back on court. Davis misses a floater for Lakers.
Davis with a block on a shot from paint. Lakers get a turn over.
CONLEY! That’s a big three pointer. Brilliant ball movement by the Wolves. Prince with a side-step and pass on that play was the highlight.
Davis is fouled by Nowell in the first play of the last quarter.
Lakers with a 28-26 advantage in the third quarter have given themselves hope. Wolves’ best player Karl Anthony Towns is staring at foul trouble and that adds to the teams woes. Can the Lakers make the turnaround?
LeBron with an offensive rebound and bucket to close the gap. He has 27 now.
Hachimura was open on a three pointer but the shot clock expired.
Wolves are moving the ball well when McLaughlin is called for an offensive foul on LeBron. Turnover!
Hachimura! He fires a three and Lakers are back to within seven points.

LeBron with an assist to Hachimura. A pass and run move and Hachimura leaps onto the bucket as he finishes. Timeout called by Timberwolves.
Hachimura with two points from the line. LeBron then denies McLaughlin.
Anthony-Walker with a dunk to get the lead to 14.
Schroder with another couple baskets. First a two pointer and then a three. A fake on the second shot which proved crucial in scoring.
Wolves take time to build that play. Anderson plays it to Alexander-Walker. The latter then drives forward and floats one over Davis.
Schroder fouled on a drive to the rim and he heads to the FT line. Comes good on both shots.
D’Lo misses a three point shot.
Anderson from beyond the arc. He is offered too much time on the ball as he is setting up for the shot.
That’a 15-point lead for Wolves and Lakers are forced to call a timeout.
Wolves get a turnover and Prince makes it count with a three point shot.
KAT with a floater to hit the net.
LeBron with a drive and finish. He got a push from the back and wants a foul. Moments earlier, he blocked an attempt from Anthony Edwards.
Davis from close range for another two. He is on 14 points for the night.
KAT with an offensive foul on Vanderbilt. he was going for a drive but gets an elbow on the Lakers player’s throat.
KAT fires right back with a three point shot.

Anthony Edwards is driving to the bucket. He jumps and is blocked by Davis. The refs give it a foul and Davis cannot believe it. Lakers call a timeout and are going to review the call it seems.
KAT’s close-range put-in is blocked by Davis and the ball is stuck on the rim. We will have a jump ball.
Conley fires another from beyond the arc. He takes the Wolves lead back to double digits.

Wolves with possession.
The second quarter looked like turning towards the Lakers but the Wolves have fought back after their timeout and go into the break with an 11-point advantage. Karl-Anthony Towns has been running the show for the away team. He has 16 points, four assists and five rebounds. On his way to a triple-double. Lakers have hoped for the usual brilliance from LeBron and Davis. LeBron has 16 and has kept Lakers in the hunt. But more is needed from the others if Darwin Ham’s side hopes of making it to the Playoffs.
Lakers give away a turn over and the ball ends up with KAT. He changes the sides and Conley is at the other end. He fires it over Reeves for an 11-point lead to Wolves. That’s the end of the half.
LeBron with his second personal foul. KAT goes to the line and fires in both shots.
Another two point shot from the paint for the Wolves. Last minute of play in the quarter.
Vanderbilt makes a block on KAT but the shot is given nonetheless as a goal-tend.
Davis with a foul on Anderson. Lakers have no fouls to give and the Wolves player goes to the line. Hits both his shots and Wolves reinstate a four point lead.
Conley with a trey to put the Wolves ahead.
Two points from Davis and he draws a foul too. Misses the free throw however.
LeBron! Oh my goodness! A drive, feint and a duck on the jump to hit the bucket. That’s his 16th point of the night. That puts Lakers ahead.
Wolves again run out of the shot clock. Turnover for the Lakers.
LAKERS!! Davis with a block. LeBron takes the ball forward. A clean pass to Reeves under the rim and the centre has no trouble slamming the ball home.
Timout called by the Wolves. Just over four to go in the quarter.
Reeves hits the free throw. Three-point game.
Reeves with a counted-and-one. Anderson with the foul. The stadium erupts at the prospect of a three-point play.
A scrappy stretch of play under the Wolves basket. Davis is fighting for the ball but Wolves prevent him from getting a clean shot.
Edwards misses two three pointers. One from each side of the court.
KAT now fouls Davis while in defence. That’s two personals for the Wolves player. Davis fires both free throws.
LEBRON! He takes a charge from KAT and that is an offensive foul. Need more such plays from LeBron.
D’Lo misses from beyond the arc. Prince too misfires at the other end.

D’Lo with a mid-range jumper for another two points. Dennis Schroder looks in trouble after a twisted ankle.

Edwards is on the break and is fouled by LeBron. The first personal of the night for the Lakers talisman. Two free throws, and both are put in.
Wolves with a steal and finish to go nine points ahead.
Alexander-Walker with a trey from the left side of court. Yet again, the shot was set up by KAT.
LeBron’s backward put in is blocked by KAT but the refs deem it a goal-tend.
A shot clock violation from Wolves. KAT was going for the shot but the buzzer goes.
LeBron with two to cut the deficit down for Lakers.
KAT with a no-look pass behind his back to find a teammate. Alexander-Walker jumps up and put the ball in for two points. KAT firing on all cylinders.
KAT too draws a foul and goes to the FT line. He comes good from both his shots and Wolves lead by eight.
LeBron with a shot-and-one from the left side of the court. He forces Prince into a foul.
Another three from Noel to get Wolves up and running in the second.
Lakers slow to get off the blocks. Slightly scrappy with their shooting. Wolves. meanwhile, have fired ahead courtesy KAT and Prince in the closing minutes. Wolves leads at the end of the first quarter.
Prince with another three. Edwards sets that one up. That’s the last point of the quarter. Edwards with a massive block on Hachimura at the other end.
KAT with another long range shot in the bucket.
A three point shot from Prince and a close put in from KAT gets Wolves back in the hunt.
Wolves’ first shot after the resumption is no good. Anderson then fouls Hachimura and the Lakers player will go to the line. He hits both his free throws.
Hachimura with a bucket from close range. Another two points for Lakers.
Wolves call for a timeout.
Hachimura goes for another jumper but this time the Wolves keep the pressure on the guard and force a miss.
Hachimura comes good from the three-point line. Nobody to block the shot. Anderson then misses for Wolves.
KAT with another turn and jumper to put the ball past Davis. Six-point lead for the Wolves.
Wolves steal the advantage back with a two and three-point shots.
Reeves with a dribble and jump shot to put Lakers ahead for the first time in the night.
LeBron with a steal and Davis puts into the net. The deficit cut to just one point.
LeBron with a slam dunk to put another two points in for Lakers. Davis’s put-in to the bucket is then blocked by KAT.
KAT with another three-pointer. A five point lead for the visiting Wolves.
That’s the first trey of the night. Karl-Anthony Towns fires it for Wolves.
D’Angelo Russell with a drive to the basket which is stopped. LeBron then misses from beyond the arc.
Anthony Edwards is fouled on the shot by Vanderbilt. He misses one of the two free throws that follow.
A scrappy start for the Lakers. LeBron misses a mid-range jumper before Davis with a turn and fade-away.

The Los Angeles Lakers finished the regular season surfing a wave of momentum while the Minnesota Timberwolves are engulfed in a punch-driven drama that will leave them without center Rudy Gobert.
One of these teams will claim a playoff spot on Tuesday night when the Lakers host the Timberwolves in a Western Conference play-in game.
