BJP Vadodara office work begins from today

VADODARA: The BJP city unit is set to get a new office in Karelibaug area for which the ground-breaking ceremony will be performed by state BJP president C R Paatil on Wednesday.
At present, the city unit operates from the commercial complex Manubhai Tower in the Sayajigunj area of the city. While the plans to have a new office were being discussed for quite some time now, there was no formal announcement by the party. Sources said that the new office will be an independent building near the Bahucharaji Temple in Karelibaug. They added that further details of the office will be disclosed at the ceremony on Wednesday.
Paatil, who arrived in the city on Tuesday evening, addressed a meeting of party workers as a part of its booth strengthening programme on Tuesday evening. He was to hold meetings with Vadodara Municipal Corporation's elected wing functionaries as well as party officials later.
