Tuesday, Beaumont council members and others, including Mayor Robin Mouton and past mayor Becky Ames, officially broke ground on the Riverfront Park restoration project. The work will rebuild and fortify the riverfront bank which was severely damaged in the the flooding of Tropical Storm Harvey in 2017.
