It was a hoax call; caller taken into custody, informs SSP Rajeev Mishra on bomb threat at Patna airport

Hours after a bomb threat call was received at Patna Airport, SSP Rajeev Mishra informed that police have taken the caller into custody in Samastipur and prima facie it appeared to be a hoax call. SSP Rajeev Mishra said, “Samastipur police has taken the caller into custody. Initial inquiry revealed that the person had made the call under the influence of alcohol. Detailed inquiry is being done. The phone from which the call was made has been recovered. Prima facie, it appears to be a hoax call.”
