CUO Koraput to launch new programme in agriculture, forest management

Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput, is set to launch programmes in agriculture and forest management, according to Vice Chancellor Chakradhar Tripathi. The university is also inviting students to apply for 14 PG programmes available this year, including a two-year Bachelor of Education and an executive MBA.

Bhubaneswar: Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput is planning to launch new programmes in agriculture and forest management keeping the available resources and basic requirements of the region in mind.
Chakradhar Tripathi, vice-chancellor of the central university, said this while addressing the media persons here on Wednesday regarding the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) (PG)-2023.
The CUET (PG) will provide a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organizations (including state universities, deemed to be universities and private universities) across India including the CUO, Koraput.
He said this year CUO is inviting applications for 14 PG programmes. These include two-year PG programmes in Odia, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, sociology, economics, journalism and mass communication, anthropology, biodiversity and conservation of natural resources, statistics, computer science, MBA and executive MBA, two-year undergraduate programme-Bachelor of Education (BEd) and five-year integrated MSc in mathematics.
Details of eligibility criteria and programme-wise intake capacity are available on the CUO website and on the CUET website.
Candidates need to submit their online applications for the two-hour-long CUET (PG)-2023 examination by April 19 (5 pm). They can get a chance for correction in particulars of the application form on the website between April 20 to April 23.
