Ludhiana: Opposition parties have opened a front against ruling party leaders over delay in finalisation of ward delimitation for MC elections, after yet another meeting was postponed for the sixth time. BJP district president Rajnish Dhiman said, “Since the AAP has come into power, there is suspense over MC polls. The meetings were fixed time and again but for one or the other reason, they were postponed. It seems the government is confused.”
Meanwhile, SAD leader Harbhajan Dang said, “The government will face the reality when voters will reject it in Jalandhar bypolls. The
Shiromani Akali Dal and BSP will first win the elections in Jalandhar, and then MCs of the state.”
