Indian Railways was a political playground earlier, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech during the flagging off event of the first Vande Bharat train from Rajasthan’s Ajmer to Delhi Cantonment, attacked the previous governments for not developing the Railway sector and using it for political interests ever since independence.Prime Minister spoke through a video conference during the event and said, “It was our nation’s bad luck that Indian Railways even after being a big part of day to day life of common people, it was made a political playground.” (ANI)
