BHUBANESWAR: A court here on Tuesday allowed the enforcement directorate (ED) to send the phones of Archana Nag, prima accused in a high-profile honey trap racket, to the central forensic science laboratory (CFSL) in Kolkata for extraction of data.
Currently, two phones of Archana and one of her husband Jagabandhu Chand, are with the state forensic science laboratory (SFSL) for verification. Since the SFSL experts have not yet been able to extract any digital evidence from the phones, the ED had moved the Khurda district court (ED's special court in Odisha), seeking transfer of the phones to CFSL, Kolkata. The court has granted permission, said a lawyer in the court.
