Another leopard captured from OF

Chandrapur: Another leopard, fourth in the last one and a half months, was captured from Ordnance Factory (OF) near Bhadrawati town on Monday morning.
Leopards have wreaked havoc in OF Chanda and nearby Piperbodi village since the last couple of months. The captured leopard had injured six people during in last few days.
Following an outcry from people, the forest department installed five cages at different locations in the OF area. After waiting for four days, the problem leopard lured by the bait walked into the cage installed near the community hall and got trapped in the morning.
Official sources informed that the captured leopard is around two years old. It is the fourth capture of a leopard from OF Chanda. The captured beast has been moved to the Transit Treatment Centre in Chandrapur.
