Mumbai: The state government allocated Rs 177.8 crore to farmers whose crops were damaged by unseasonal
rain in March. The state issued directions to distribute the funds to different districts.
The largest share of funds, Rs 84.7 crore, was for Marathwada. Nashik division was allocated Rs 63 crore.
Amravati division was allocated Rs 24 crore, and Western Maharashtra was allocated Rs 5.4 crore. TNN
