Karnataka Assembly elections: BJP MLA KS Eshwarappa writes to JP Nadda, opts out of contesting K'taka polls

Hours after Bharatiya Janata Party leader MLA from Shivamogga KS Eashwarappa wrote to BJP National President JP Nadda stating his decision to not contest the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections, KS Eashwarappa on April 11 addressed the media persons and informed about his letter to BJP National President JP Nadda over his decision to not contest in upcoming elections. Karnataka BJP MLA KS Eashwarappa said, “I spoke about my decision in the Karnataka BJP election committee meeting which was held a few days ago in Bengaluru but party leaders Prahlad Joshi, Nalin Kumar Kateel and others did not accept my decision and that’s why I wrote to party president JP Nadda to accept my decision and allow me to work with more responsibilities to bring back BJP with full majority in Karnataka.”
